COMMUNICATING LOVE WITH THE CREATOR

Our idea of communication with our Creator and ourselves has been lacking for a very long time, permit me to say, from the beginning of the creation of man. This realization has made me understand that God wants us to communicate with critical reasoning and love, not just to ourselves but also to Him. That’s why we must first seek these key elements which are His Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, and most importantly, LOVE, which is the summary of good communication.

Now, the question is, why are we not communicating with love? We can’t, believe me when I say we can’t communicate well because for centuries only a few people have discovered that we lack good communication, and this should be seen as a problem. So, how could we have had good communication when we do not realize we have a problem in communication, not to mention good communication with love? We, as humans, do not communicate well, and there has been little or no medium to get it right.

Let’s look at the Bible after the creation of man and woman and the lack of communication with love. From this passage, we will acknowledge poor communication with LOVE. It brings me to my theory that no matter what we directly or indirectly get from God unwillingly, we can never will that thing well, fast, and reach its full potential if God has not decreed it or bestowed it unto us as HIS perfect will.

“God said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten [fruit] from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” And the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me—she gave me [fruit] from the tree, and I ate it.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent beguiled and deceived me, and I ate [from the forbidden tree].””

Even with the knowledge of good and bad that Adam had, he did not reply to God’s question or communicate with love in response to God’s Question.

It’s just like stealing something from God and it’s ineffective to you since it’s not yours but God being so faithful was patient with us to figure it out, by we making the effort to have this self realization of poor communication.

This brings me to the KING OF TRUTH. The word of GOD that came as FLESH to enlighten us on how to communicate with love to ourselves and GOD.

Jesus introduced PRAYERS to us. This prayer communicates LOVE, acknowledges GODSWILL and POWER which is most important as this comes first, then protection, forgiveness, and provision to us.

““Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment]. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’”

As God the Father is the center of it all, Jesus Christ our Lord acknowledged HIM first and placed His will before anything else in that prayer. It is highly important and mandatory to put God’s will first in our communication with HIM. This signifies that HE, LORD God the Creator, is OUR FIRST PRIORITY, OUR FIRST LOVE. Just so you know from my experience, the way and manner GOD is detailed and as dangerously jealous of anything that will separate us from HIM is enough for you to know that if we can try and communicate love in prayers with HIM and in action. We need not worry about our needs or wants because before we would speak or even think of anything, HE would have acted in love for us.

Some will ask, what is this communication with love? This is what I mean. How many times have you put God first in prayers? Have you communicated with God as your first Love in a personal relationship with Him ? Have you gone in prayers by asking God, “How can I please you today?” Have you gone to bed and asked God if none of His creations greatly grieved HIM? Oh yes, that’s real communication with love to God. How many times in a day have you gone to God and said, “Open my heart to see how I may have offended HIM?” How many times have you wondered in thought saying to God, “Who did you save today that brought you so much JOY?” Have you tried praying like this, “Lord, help me to learn and overcome the trials of today, Amen.”

Have you had ? A sober reflection that will lead you to say to God “ lord make me still so I would truly know that you are God in my life.

Have you looked at the sky and seen how beautiful it appears and said to God in your heart or vocally, “I like how beautiful it looks today?” Oh Yes, God deserves a huge compliment, maybe silently in your heart.

Indeed, God deserves immense praise, perhaps silently in our hearts, for every intricate detail of His creation. Regrettably, we have been erroneously taught in religious gatherings to prioritize ourselves in prayers. We have adopted an antiquated pattern of communicating with God, focusing primarily on our WANTS, NEEDS, BLESSINGS and PROVISION.

Consider a relationship scenario: how would it feel to approach someone daily, asking mostly for our needs, with little or no expression of love or concern for the other party’s desires? God has desires from us too, and we need to pay attention to His wants as well.

I envision the church as a platform for fostering genuine conversations with God, akin to how Job communicated with God in the Bible.

“I am disgusted with my life and loathe it! I will give free expression to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. I will say to God, ‘Do not condemn me [and declare me guilty]! Show me why You contend and argue and struggle with me. Do You have eyes of flesh? Do You see as a man sees? Are Your days as the days of a mortal, Are Your years as man’s years, That You seek my guilt And search for my sin? Although You know that I am not guilty or wicked, Yet there is no one who can rescue me from Your hand. ‘Your hands have formed and made me altogether. Would You [turn around and] destroy me? Remember now, that You have made me as clay; So will You turn me into dust again? Have You not poured me out like milk And curdled me like cheese? [You have] clothed me with skin and flesh, And knit me together with bones and sinews. You have granted me life and lovingkindness; And Your providence (divine care, supervision) has preserved my spirit. Yet these [present evils] You have hidden in Your heart [since my creation]: I know that this was within You [in Your purpose and thought]. If I sin, then You would take note and observe me, And You would not acquit me of my guilt. If I am wicked, woe to me [for judgment comes]! And if I am righteous, I dare not lift up my head. For I am sated and filled with disgrace and the sight of my misery. Should I lift my head up, You would hunt me like a lion; And again You would show Your marvelous power against me.”

This is quite different from what we often observe in churches, where prayers, from the beginning to the end, cater only to their understanding and edification, a practice that is passed down to children.

Quoting Pastor Cliffe, he stated that communication (prayer) with God in our culture is often perceived as a means of summoning the cosmic bellboy to fetch our bags of goods. For instance, he said if a student hasn’t studied for a test, they might pray, “Lord, I sure could use an A+, so I’m praying to you for an A+, and I sure would like a Mercedes in my driveway when I get home.” However, this isn’t genuine communication with God.

Prayer is an attempt to develop intimacy with God(the one who holds life and death, the holy one and the one who loves unconditionally.

He further made some points which I wholeheartedly agree with. He said prayer is aligning my will with God’s perfect will, a good example being Jesus’ prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane. The second point is that God uses the communication we have with Him to bring about His perfect will. That’s why in James chapter 5, it is stated that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective in ways that we can’t understand.

So, does it mean God depends upon our prayers? No! God does not depend on our prayers; God does what He chooses to do. He advised us to learn how to pray and to pray deeply right from the heart to establish a deep connection with the one who loves us deeply.

This is my favorite part: he warned us to be wary of people who claim that if you pray in a certain way, you’ll get what you want. That’s a lie. There is no particular technique to learn to get what I want in prayers . There is no magical prayer to pray to get a job. It is, first and foremost, a human struggle to know God.

““Also, when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to pray [publicly] standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets so that they may be seen by men. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, they [already] have their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your most private room, close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you. “And when you pray, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. So do not be like them [praying as they do]; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When you communicate with deep feelings to God, it will reflect on how you communicate with others. It’s remarkably amazing that a Being whom you neither see nor vocally exchange communication with can communicate with your thoughts, your environment, and people in harmony.

For thousands of generations, God is constantly seeking to perfect our relationship with Him in every aspect. I believe we should pay attention to how we can communicate with Him through prayers by being selfless, shifting our focus to Him first, and letting Him know that as naive in knowledge as we are, we will still give Him that innocent communication of love, and He will take care of us.

This will help us reshape our minds, create empathy in communication with our neighbors, and much more. I pray we seek to perfect our communication with God, and I pray He willingly grants us all that we need to perfect it and succeed to the glory of His name so that we can communicate with love around the world if it be God’s prefect will.
